Interior design requires high taste of art from the designer. Recently I found the flair high gloss contrast high drama interiors on an interior design which is designed by a Hong Kong’s designer named Steve Leung. The designer applied his work to spaces with his characteristic of style. He always takes the finest materials to create the perfect finishes as well incredible view of an interior design. He focuses the style in modernity which can be seen on the heavy use of finest and expensive materials. As the result, our eyes will see to such a masterpiece with elegant but still modest yet luxurious interior design. Like common modern style, Leung lets sunlight gets into the space as much as possible by using glass.
Leung is surely trying to create a drama from his design. He clearly wants to create the luxurious as well as expensive view for his works. But one thing interesting is that despite the heavy use of luxurious and expensive materials, Leung also keeps his modesty by keeping the traditionalism atmosphere kept well. This can be seen from the use of rice paper, wooden frames, and also by placing the floral features. Since Leung is an Asian, his works still reflect the oriental feeling although the main theme is modernity and luxury. If we see deeper, Leung’s designs have European style as well which is blended well by him with the whole package including the oriental style. So you will not find two of the styles (Oriental and European) look awkward because Leung has made it perfectly matched.
Leung mostly plays with bright colors combined with glasses which will even make the bright space brighter by delivering abundant amount of sunlight. His works can be concluded with low detailed but has high impact on everyone who stares at them.
